Kathie Burridge Barnard, LICSW received her Bachelors Degree in Sociology from the University of Massachusetts in 1975 and her Masters in Social Work from Boston University in 1982. She has provided individual, couples and family therapies as well as consultation to individuals and organizations for over 20 years. She has worked as a senior social worker and supervisor at The Children’s Hospital in Boston, and an EAP practitioner at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Partners Health Care Inc. In addition to being a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, Kathie is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor and a Certified Employee Assistance Professional. She works to foster coping and recovery from a wide range of life’s problems including anxiety, depression, chronic illness, grief and loss, adjustment issues, work issues, parenting, balancing work and family, addictions and trauma.
