Tanya Cherkerzian received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Boston College in 1994 and her master of social work degree from Smith College in 1998. Prior to joining Colony Care in 2003 she was the Director of Child and Adolescent Partial Hospital Services at Bournewood Hospital and was the Director of Crisis Stabilization Services and Diagnostic and Assessment Services at Tri-City Mental Health. Ms. Cherkerzian is specialized in working with adolescents, families, and adults with adjustment disorders, mood disorders and anxiety disorders. She integrates hypnotherapy into her practice and is a member of The New England Society of Clinical Hypnosis. She has her Certification in Clinical Hypnosis through The American Society of Clinical Hypnosis.
