Mimi Ross earned her Bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin and received her MSW degree from Boston University Graduate School of Social Work in 1977. She also earned a teaching certificate from Carthage College. Ms. Ross has over 27 years of clinical experience as a forensic social Worker at the Middlesex Courthouse's mental health clinic where she was a senior clinical social worker. As a forensic social worker, she worked with adolescents, adults, parents, and families involved with the legal system around behavior issues, substance abuse, major mental illness, domestic violence and trauma. Ms. Ross is skilled in treating depression, anxiety, and a wide range of mental health issues. She also completed training in divorce mediations and has an interest in working with families around these issues. In addition to her private practice at Colony Care she is a Faculty Advisor at Boston University School of Social Work.
