| Melissa Seastead received her bachelor's degree in psychology from Washington University in 1996 and her MSW from Simmons College Graduate School of Social Work in 1998. She has experience using individual and family-based approaches to working with children and adolescents in both out-patient and residential settings. Ms. Seastead currently provides support for children, adolescents, adults, and families. She specializes in the treatment of depression, anxiety, attention deficit, abuse, and the use of hypnosis/hypnotherapy. She also has extensive experience working with the issues surrounding divorce, parenting, peer relationship conflicts, school adjustment, foster care, and adoption. In addition to her private practice, Ms. Seastead has consulted with public schools by providing on-site counseling, case management, and urgent care.
