Julie Simmons received her bachelor's degree in psychology from Brandeis University in 1999, and her master's of social work degree from Simmons College in 2004. Ms. Simmons received advanced post-graduate training at Children's Hospital in Boston in working with children, adolescents, and families. She has worked in a variety of settings, including emergency psychiatry, public and therapeutic schools, and outpatient clinics. Ms. Simmons has extensive experience working with issues surrounding school adjustment, peer relationship conflicts, trauma, attachment, depression, and anxiety.
